Pilgrims on the boat bridge to the Salute in Venice poster

Venice poster, pilgrims to the Salute on a bridge of boats

Hooded, candles in hand, pilgrims cross a plank bridge laid over boats. They are on their way to the basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, which raises its great white dome, scrolls and statues at the far end, between a pale house and cypress trees. This Venice poster depicts the Festa della Salute, a Venetian tradition. The golden sky and teal water create a solemn, contemplative atmosphere. The title “Venise” accompanies this procession.

A solemn Venetian scene for an entryway or an office

Its golds and teal bring elegance to a living room, entryway, office or library. They pair with dark wood, velvet, brass and dark or cream walls. Its contemplative scene suits calm rooms. You can combine it with other Venice posters to show the city in a different light from the usual gondolas. It is a gift for a lover of Venice, someone passionate about religious traditions and history, or anyone who has attended the festival on November 21.
