about this poster

Katana and Japanese cherry blossom poster

Resting on a lacquered stand, a katana with an ornate hilt takes center stage. Behind it, a cherry tree in bloom lets its petals fall, which settle gently on the ground near the stand. The whole subject lies in this contrast between the strength of steel and the fragility of flowers. Soft pinks and metallic glints create an elegant, serene image. This katana poster bears the title “STEEL AND PETALS,” which sums up this meeting.

A katana in bloom for an office or bedroom

Its elegance suits an office, a bedroom, a living room or a clean-lined entryway. Its soft pinks and metallic grays go well with dark wood, black lacquer, ceramic and white, gray or charcoal walls. You can pair it with other Japan or cherry blossom posters. A great gift for a martial arts practitioner, a kendo or aikido student, a sword collector, a fan of Japanese culture or a lover of samurai manga.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
