about this poster

Lyon poster, Fourvière Basilica above Old Lyon

All white, the Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica stands on its hill above Lyon. Below, the rooftops of Old Lyon (Vieux Lyon) descend to the Saône, in soft morning light. The title “LYON” is printed on this Lyon poster in the style of illustrated travel posters. The white of the basilica, the ochre and orange tones of the rooftops and the reflection of the river give a serene image of the city, in landscape format.

A Lyon panorama for the living room or office

Its horizontal format stretches nicely above a sofa, a desk or a console table. Its ochres and oranges pair well with golden stone, wood, copper and warm fabrics. In a dining room, it recalls dinners in Old Lyon. It can be paired with other French city posters. It makes a meaningful gift for a Lyon native, a couple who met there, or a friend leaving the city for a new adventure.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
