Woman in a silk qipao on the Shanghai Bund poster

Shanghai poster, a woman in a qipao on the Bund

Dressed in a silk qipao, an elegant woman holds a fan on the Bund in Shanghai. Behind her, the stone facades of the waterfront stand in a row, while a junk glides along the Huangpu. The title “SHANGHAI” appears on the poster. This Shanghai poster plays on the delicate sheen of the silk, the stone of the facades and the soft tones of the river. The scene is refined and a little mysterious, carried by the calm poise of the woman out for a stroll.

A refined poster for a bedroom or living room

Its soft, silky tones suit a bedroom, a living room, a walk-in closet or an entryway. Vertical, it shows off the figure’s silhouette and sits nicely above a vanity, a dresser or a console table. It goes well with velvet, silk, lacquer, brass and dark wood. Pair it with other posters of Asian cities or elegant portraits. It is a delicate gift for a fashion lover, a China enthusiast or a traveler back from Shanghai.
